Problems Updating

Hi! ok, about one month ago I buy a license with mi credit card, because i like the free edition and try to give a chance, but since that, there's no way the program can be updated, its still show version update 120713 and if i try to update manually, it say's it's updated sucesfully.... can somebody help me?

PD: sorry if i write something wrong, english it's not my natal language.

1. Which version from avast!?
2. OS?... (32/64 Bit? - which SP?)
3. Other security related software installed?

Try a repair of avast:
XP - Add Remove programs, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Change/Remove button and select Repair, click next and follow.

Vista, win7 - Control Panel, Programs & Features, uninstall a program, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Uninstall/Change and select Repair, click next and follow.

You may need to reboot after the repair.

This has in the past resolved this out of sync issue between reported and actual VPS version.

Hi! thanks for answering.

Avast version is 7.0.1456, I used Win7 64 bits, and don't have another security software. Ill try DavidR solution meanwhile.

EDIT: Ok, it's already work, but please don't close topic unless i'm sure it worked fully. Thanks a lot :D.
