Hi, I have run Auslogics Disk Defrag on my computer.
36 junk files were found, 56 registry errors.
Auslogics recommends to scan computer with Auslogics BoostSpeed.
What are your thougt, suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your replies!

To start with this really should be in the General forum as it isn't directly related to avast.
How can we have any thoughts when you don't give any examples of the junk files or registry entries.
Personally I feel they are trying to promote another of their products, if your system is running fine why would you need to run anything. I'm a huge sceptic in these system optimisation (snake oil) products.

Totally agree with DavidR here, plus these tools can do more harm than good.
The only thing i ever run on my systems for optimization is CCleaner and a defrag with a reputable program such as Defraggler or Puran, even the normal windows defrag is quite good if your on win7
Also i didn't know that defrag tools clean junk files or registry entries
a defrag program should stick to what it is supposed to do " defragging "

hey you can run there free registry ccleaner to fix the registry problems. i use them both and no problem here. and for the junk files is nothing you have to worry about just run ccleaner ones a week or so.

Thanks guys for your replies.
I wasn't aware of a general forum here, next time better.
I have ccleaner aboard, which I run a couple of times every week.
I will download/install defraggler or puran as replacement to auslogics.
Enjoy your weekend.
