Multiple Virus Database Update Messages

For the past two or three weeks, whenever Avast Pro updates it virus database, I get two update messages.  The second message is usually within 10 to 15 seconds of the first message.  Anyone else experience this?  Any ideas how to get just one message instead of two?

It's a known issue with the current version of avast - I've seen posts about it elsewhere here, but don't have any links to hand.

Personally I get the "your virus database has been updated" (or whatever it is) audio, then a few seconds later the actual "popup" message and the audio plays again - I'm assuming that's what you mean?
Apparently this is fixed in the latest beta.

This beta of Free/Pro/AIS (version 7.0.1464) contains following fixes:

you can solve it two ways....

trurn off update sound....
install latest beta where it is fixed..... you find it in the beta forum section

or wait for the oficial release
