Multiple Warnings?
« on: August 16, 2012, 11:45:39 PM »
Quick Question...
I have Avast Pro for my PC, Avast Free for my Mac OS Lion iMac..
First time running the Avast Free for Mac, and I ended up clearing a couple trojans ( thank you!) but also had 139 "warnings" like corrupt archive file, decompression bomb,  file too big. etc.
So, I already read the thread about how you can simply ignore the decompression bomb..but I wondering how to clear these warnings? I don't see an "ignore" button anywhere.. :)

Thanks,
Elizabeth

Hallo,
the warnings say nothing about infection, they just describe a condition when normal full scan wasn't done for some particular reason.
For example, compression bomb might be also an archive with unusually high compression ratio, and even the stock installation of MacOS contains some files with those strange properties...
