Scan Log Question
« on: August 17, 2012, 08:31:37 AM »
So I looked in my Scan Logs and noticed I had a file that was marked Threat: NSIS:Zugo-A [Adw] that couldn't be deleted because it was in use at that time.  I assumed this was a while ago because it's been weeks since I used the program it was associated with.  I went and manually deleted the file, prompting AVAST to nab it and put it in the Virus Chest.  Should I do anything with the file in the Virus Chest, ie. delete the file, or should I leave it be for now?  I am currently allowing that computer to run a boot-time scan as well.

Thanks,

Zetsumei

probably bc you had your browser open? ..... as this zugo is some toolbar bug

you may run this to clean out all toolbar/ adware bugs

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Removal-Tools/AdwCleaner.shtml
http://www.softpedia.com/progScreenshots/AdwCleaner-Screenshot-212632.html

click search... . a log will pop up, close or minimise it
then click delete.... the computer will restart and the log will pop up again with all it removed

you may post that log here
