Freezes at 49%

Every week at the same time, I have Avast perform a full scan while I am asleep.  For several months now, Avast freezes at 49% and locks up my computer. 

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

OS/SP/32-64 bit?
Avast version: Free/Pro/AIS  5.0, 6.0, 7.0.
Latest definition date:
Firewall used:

Name of file and file path Avast! locks up on.
