I am Paranoid.
« on: August 19, 2012, 06:34:28 PM »
This is a new CPU, got a new one. My old one was virus infected and I just kept it shut down. Now with what happened to the last one, I am extremely paranoid about this computer getting infected with malware, viruses, etc. What are good ways to maintain safety on this computer? I have Malwarebytes Anti Malware, SuperAntiSpyware free edition, and of course Avast! Antivirus. I only go to a few websites, and trying to be as safe as I can. So I guess I will be spending some time on this forum, thanks for reading, and if I bored you, I am sorry.

How does the computer shutdown?
Does it keep on and the screen goes black? Full turn off?
Is it too hot or its temperature is normal?
Does it crash some application or the whole computer showing a blue screen?
The best things in life are free.

But remember that the best antimalware your comp may have is you. If it does not feel right, back off and investigate.
