How do I remove BackDoor.Ruledor.C Virus?

  I recently updated all my virus scan programs Norton, Mcafee, and AVG. I ran all three Mcafee and Norton didnt detect any viruses. Avg however detected a virus called BackDoor.Ruledor.C virus.
I tried removing it with AVG but was unsucessful. If u have any suggestions or know of anyway to remove it i would appreciate the info.

hm, write down the filename of that Backdoor and start your PC in safe mode. You should be able to delete/rename it then. Search the Registy for that filename, and delete the references to the file.
You could send the file to avast, so they can add it. To Avoid a false alarm youcan test the file here: http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk.html
