[help] cant install avast7.exe and not working

good day i downloaded avast at cnet..
i just formated and clean install of XP
and my OS is windows xp when i click the setup i only get this.. and nothing happens.. what is the problem?

Are you trying to download and Run/Install in one action ?

I would suggest that you download the latest version directly (I presume you are downloading the free version) and save it to your hard disk first, then install it.

its desame problem after i click the avast_free_antivirus_setup

it will show up this, then it will disappear..nothing happen

Have (or did) you another Anti-Virus installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?

i installed avast_free_antivirus_setup on WIN7 32bit.

it is newly reformated HDD with XP.

do i need to download microsoft framework to run this?

A little confused here, you say "i installed avast_free_antivirus_setup on WIN7 32bit." but you also say "it is newly reformated HDD with XP." ?
The avast installation file is compatible with XP, Vista and Win7 (plus win8) for both 32 and 64bit OS version of those, so it shouldn't really matter what OS you have of those avast should be OK.

I take it you mean .net framework and the answer is no.

Do you have a firewall installed, if so what ?

i just solved right now.... i download rkill and run it. then try the sutup it works now just installed it right now
