Updated Avast pro to the latest version after a windows 8 install. After doing this, all the metro apps (and just the metro apps) don't run at all. They open up and close out in a matter of seconds.
It is fixed when avast is totally disabled, but IE metro still will not load. Now if I uninstall it, then IE metro works again.
I was wondering if anybody else has encountered this?
