I wish it detected IE as a spyware on my computer. :(!  Finally, a bug that actually has a positive element. :)

I wonder if that not only knocks out the Browser element but also the OE display of html mail in the preview pane and the display of help files, because these use IE for displaying the data.

Well they did after all clean up the source of most spyware/adware/malware Internet Explorer and its security holes.

I thought that it was malicious code that was the cause of malware?

I'm bringing this thread back to 'top' just to mention a silly test that shows Microsoft seeking harder and deeper for spywares.

Sheesh your kidding me, I thought there gonna keep the antispyware for free!  Spybot and Ad-aware SE are still strong tools together against Spyware, that's all I can say.

The latest that I heard also said it will remain FREE.
The website in your post doesn't indicate how old their information is??? So there really isn't any way of telling. ??? ???

I posted some days ago about this new: B.Gates said "MS Antispyware remains free" in a conference. Now I don't remember where is the post; I posted also the link to the website who reported this B.G.'s words.

Tech if M$ try and charge for their antispyware product imha they will loose plenty of

supporters users  of this software. The reason most user are using it today is coz it is free.

This program isn't bad but I wouldn't pay for it  ;)
