Hi!

I would like to reset the VRDB updating in Avast4 home edition and the help file said one could do this in avast.ini. But the setting number there is all greek to me. I would like to reset this to a time span of less than 3 weeks. You see I often install and uninstall applications and feel that if something happens in between VRDB updating, these files would be passe. Help. Thanks.

In avast 4.1 (due early next week), you'll be given the chance to start/stop VRDB generation on-demand (ie. there is a "Start Now"/"Stop now" command).
