Virus Definitions Update
« on: August 31, 2012, 12:20:57 AM »
Hi There,
I have "Paid Avast" on my Windows machine and notice that the latest definitions update on that machine shows 120830-1 and on my iMac "Free Avast" defs show as 12082900...when I try a manual update it tells me that they are up to date.  The strange part is that the defs always used to be the same on both machines, but not today!  I wonder why?
Verne.

Hallo,
this problem was a temporary flaw in our distribution subsystem (Mac databases were produced, but temporarily unavailable on our servers). It's already fixed, all postponed data were re-distributed and are now available in sync with Windiows. Thanks for reporting this flaw anyway.
