BitTorrent/uTorrent in P2P Shield confusion
« on: September 01, 2012, 08:23:55 AM »
I know BitTorrent and uTorrent merged in the past but i didn't know they are pretty much identical except color scheme and icons.
The thing thats confusing me a bit at this point is, why is BitTorrent 7.7 getting scanned by P2P Shield, but uTorrent isn't (because it's unchecked by default). I know there were performance issues with uTorrent and P2P Shield in the past, but don't the same performance problems also affect BitTorrent client now, since it's essentially just a repainted uTorrent? Old original BitTorrent client was completelly different but now it's the same as uTorrent.

Should this "new" BitTorrent client also be excluded from P2P Shield by default or there aren't any performance issues with this one and P2P Shield anymore?
