Moving "Scan Blah.exe" to the Shift+Right Click Menu?
« on: September 02, 2012, 12:11:54 PM »
So, down to brass tacks.

Context Menu Scan is lovely and all, but I don't use it all that often and it's just sitting there clogging it up.

However I don't want to disable it (via the avast! settings) because I do occasionally use it.

So I was thinking, how could I move it to only show when I hold Shift and Right Click? I tried using ShellEX and other tools, but it doesn't show so I assume it's in some non-standard registry position to add the "Extended" registry string.

Does anyone know how can I do this?

Welcome to the forum.:)
Tampering with the program itself, is a no no.  :)

I'm not asking to tamper with the program, I am asking to change the registry setting so the "Scan" context menu item is hidden unless I hold shift. :(
