Well I have just cleared out my firefox browser cache and slap my thigh, the avast icon is spinning and the 'last scanned:' indicates my browser cache location and the weird firefox allocated extensionless file.

Tried that site and it goes bananas, loads of cookies also.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Was a while ago when I think Firefox was still beta, if you have a fast connection just disable your cache by setting it to 0 ....no problems with page speed loads and you always get a fresh web page as it doesn't check the cache against the web page first.  Might be a bit of a hit if you're on dial-up ....... I'm on cable so can't test
