I rather doubt you get that information as it would certainly be commercially confidential. Not to mention useful to malware writers if they were to say how they detect malware.

I'm an avast user not an avast employee, so I'm not privy to any code/signatures.

It isn't just a case of not revealing it in a public forum, but revealing it 'at all' for any reason, it could still fall into the wrong hands. If you are going to be studying anti-malware technology you should realise that security companies aren't going to reveal their technologies/methods.

Not to mention no one knows who you are other than you have just registered on the forums.

we are currently working on our thesis entitled "Analysis on the behaviour of computer viruses" namely malware, spyware. so we are not working for any anti-malware/spyware technology.
