uninstalling the mail shield

Hi all!
is it possible to uninstall the mail shield in the Mac version  ?
In the windows version it is possible during the installation simply to not install the module. But, as I can see, in the Mac version you can only uncheck the option in the settings but then, the program shows a red cross in the man window.

This is not possible, you can only disable it.
