I'm not for sure what to do,  so heres my dilema I purchased Avast pro 7 today, i recieved my email  and then proceeded to get an error ( which is attached)  and now i can't download, or do anything avast without it freezing now i spoke to the avast people today, and they said  that they would have to, remotely connect to my computer, and install a program, ( that they have) and  they would be able to fix it. ( i didn't feel comfortable with doing that btw!)  Any help is greatly appreciated

Thank you

what antivirus did you have before avast?
did you uninstall it before installing avast?
have you run the vendors removal tool to clear any leftover files that may conflict?

Yes the link Pondus provided you has removal tools for most anti-viruses, please run the neccessary tools first before re-installing avast, remember to download and save the version of avast you require first before removing your current copy.

You need to download and execute the uninstall utility for Norton. Because there are some leftovers. Don't forget to restart your PC after that.

Win10 x64, APS (always latest version)
Avast Mobile Security (always latest version)
