Generally they are quick to correct FPs when confirmed.

Periodically check it (scan it in the chest), there should still be a copy in the chest even though you restored it to the original location. When it is no longer detected (you can assume that it has been corrected) then you can also remove it from the File System Shield and avast Settings, exclusions lists.[

The files in the chest are now not infected when scanned so I guess it must have been an FP, so I'll restore them back.... must have been fixed in the updates.

You're welcome.

When you Restore the files, there will be a copy remaining in the chest (a bit of a safety net), confirm that the files are back in the original location; if so then you can manually delete the copy in the chest.

Yep, I did make sure they were in their right places.... I can find em now when I do a scan search - I just didn't think about the Virus chest before!

To be sure I did both a Virus scan and a Malwarebyte  scan after re-insertion and both came up clean.
