How do you ping a computer with avast firewall.

Do you mean, through the avast firewall?

Open a command prompt.
"ping google.nl" works for me.

Does this work?

User Interface > Firewall > Firewall settings > Policies > Packet rules > ICMP Ping Echo > Allow in/out
