Sending AV Scan logs to shared folder
« on: September 11, 2012, 11:37:23 PM »
I would like to send the Antivirus scan logs to a shared drive at my home for the 3 PC's that are scanned every saturday morning. So I set up a auto scan and under reports, there is an option to send a report. How to I have it sent to a share along with the report showing what pc it came from?

There seem to be only two options.

Scan > Settings > Let avast generate a report file. Then fill in the filename prepended by its path; either X:\share\ or in UNC form \\server name\share\

If neither works, then there is no direct way.

EDIT You likely cannot output from 3 pc's to one log file, due to filelock problems. If you could, I'd try to choose a different interface language for each pc.
