Cannot move file to chest because disk is full

Please some help on this
Just finished scanning all computer, and at the end of the scan avast managed to move to chest 2 of the viruses, however on the third one there was this message.
What does it mean disk full ? does it mean my disk d or c full ?
i still have got on both disks 25 GB
Thank you hope to get some direction from you guys

hey and welcome to the forum.

what files is it that avast can't move to the chest?

what size is it on that file?


Windows 8.1 amd a10-5700 64 bit
12 GB ram 1 tb hard drive. Avast 18, MBAM

The message is telling you there is not enough room in the Chest for the 3rd one.

I would suggest that your Chest size is to small to include the 3rd one. You can increase the Chest size to double that shown, which would be 512, or to 1024, etc. You can also enter a 0 which would mean no limit to the chest size.
That should solve the problem.

I've had mine set to '0' since initial install long time back. ;) :)

Personally I believe it is more likely that the file being moved to the chest exceeds the value for the 'Maximum size of file to be sent:' the error is a little misleading.

This default size is 16384KB (16MB) and that should cater for most files likely to be sent to the chest, how big is the file you are trying to send to the chest ?

File name, Location and malware name would also help.
