I also have been using LastPass for some time and I love it.

Obviously, I can not check with the forum because something is keeping me from posting in the forum. If anyone out there who is following this and who is able to use the site would like to register and let them know my problem, that would be great.

I will report this through the company itself and try to get some action that way.

Seems to me that it has got to be something that both of my computers have in common; Dell desktop and Gateway laptop.

There is still one thing I'd like to know. If there is something you don't want your firewall to block, how would you add that item to allow it in the Avast firewall? Surely it can't be that complicated.

To Midnight: I did try Ask Jeeves. There isn't another forum for RESPeRATE. It was mentioned in a few other places, but there is only one forum.

Sorry, I use the free version of avast! so you'll need to wait for one of the others to answer that one for you. :)

If your firewall is set to auto decide then look here: https://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=970&nav=0,2,66
If your firewall is set to ask, then you will be asked for internet access.

I registered but I can't read the post's or start a new topic.  When I click on a topic it just shows a white screen.  Before I registered I could read the post's.  I'm still logged in but since I can't read or post I'll just logout.  Sorry I wasn't able to let them know about your problem.  :(

You are a doll! Thanks for the effort. Apparently there is something badly messed up with their site.

I just sent them a message stating the problem about not being able to read or post a topic.  Hopefully they will reply.

Thank you so much. Does this mean, then, that you were finally able to post in the forum?

Thank you so much. Now, are they fixing "YOUR" profile or mine?

Just checked my email and I also have the very same email from the same person as you received. Must be a form letter. It will be interesting to see what happens.

As I said before, it's a forum problem and they are now aware of it and are fixing it.  :)
