AutoSandbox unable to learn!
« on: September 17, 2012, 05:23:33 PM »
Situation: using a Program* that AutoSandbox considers as "mandatorily sandboxable".

Problem: AutoSandbox is unwilling or unable to accept that the user is choosing "run normally (next time)"- both in "auto" and in "ask" mode!

If you tell in the dialogue-box to run normally (and not sandboxed) next time, the program is quit anyway, and next time you start it, it is the same thing: the program is started sandboxed even if you did tell that it should not be started sandboxed. This happens in both modes, in auto-decide AND in ask mode! Why?

Why is AutoSandbox not able to learn even if it pretends to do that?

Only solution is do manually declare the program as exception that is not to be sandboxed.

Why is that not working properly as the dialogue boxes pretend?

* That program is a download manager; using it inside a sandbox does not make sense at all as all downloaded files will be deleted after leaving the program when started inside sandbox!
