I don't understand why it's not automatically updating.Well 59 minute ago when your AV searched for an update there may of not been one but later when you checked one was obviously released, your avast default settings are to search for updates every 4 hours, at minimal this can be set to search every two hours ( free version ) if you choose too settings/updates/detailsMine just updated too 120918-0 two minutes ago at which it states last update attempt 2 minute ago.
