Microsoft Dynamics NAV e-mail problem (using Terminal Services)

Here's the situation:
A Windows 2008 R2 server using Terminal Services has avast! Endpoint Protection Suite with ASOA.
There're a few users connected through TS most of the time.

The problem is, when a user is using NAV, the moment he tries to send an e-mail, it should open Outlook.
Instead, NAV just crashes.
Now, with some users, it works alright, but for those who have the issue, the problem disappears when uninstalling avast!.
Deactivating all the shields doesn't seem to work, strangely enough...

Any ideas why it behaves this way?
