Locked down files
« on: September 25, 2012, 08:09:41 AM »
Hi. Im having a problem that it seems like AVast has locked down a file I'm compiling too(probably compiled to often) as I know more can compile this file, no matter how hard I try.
So Where can I find list over what files AVAST has blocked access too.
I've added the folder I compile too and from in "Real time shields -> Filesystem shield -> Expert -> Exclusions", to no avail.
Any Idea how to fix this problem short of removing Avast?

If I move my source and destination folder somewhere else, all is nice and dandy again.

Is avast giving any warning notices that it is blocking you from doing so ? Have you changed any of avasts default settings ?

I doubt it is avast blocking you then, you can test by turning of avasts self protection ( settings/troubleshooting ) then right click the avast ball and disable all shields and retry your compiling, if it still doesn't work then i suspect maybe the compiling tool-program you are using might be the problem.
