Missing AVAST gadget

Some how I turn off the AVAST gadget and can not find to get turn back on. Does any one know how I can it turned back on?

Go to start menu, show all programs, desktop gadget gallery and you'll find the gadget there.

It was not on the list.

Just for my info do you have to do verification thing every time do a post?

Don't understand why it's not on your list.

I think the verification is for only the first 3 posts.

RocketNut if you navigate to programs and features and click on avast then click uninstall - when you recieve the popup screen click on "change" this will bring up options for you to install or remove features of avast, if you want the gadget then tick the box and reverse the proceedure to remove.

An easier way to installed gadgets is to right click the screen which will bring up the context menu, gadgets should be listed there.

Microsoft has also asked everyone to disable the sidebar due to it being unsupported anymore because of security risks so im not sure if having the gadget ( sidebar ) is really worth the risk that microsoft says it imposed.
