downloaded skins not listed

I downloaded some skins, placed them into de skinsfolder but the only thing I see is 3 standard skins when I try to change skin?
What am I doing wrong?

When downloading the skins, try chooseing open rather then downloading them to your PC.

Instructions are on the webpage you got the skins from:

To install the skin simply click on the Download link (some skins may be embedded in ZIP files - in this case, double-click the skin file in the ZIP archive).

If the files has the extention .aswcs, just double click on it to install.
