Could you copy the MSN page redirect either by screenshot or copying/pasting the address bar

I can't copy with cut and paste, capture program or paint so here it is in longhand:
http//www.msn.com/?fb_xdfragment#xd_sig=f2bda54baf94b_z8&xd_action=proxy_ready&
data&xd_rel=parent.parent&xd_origin=http%3A%2f%2fstatic.ak.facebook.com
It doesn't seem to affect Google.

My daughter started a facebook account for me a year ago, but i've only been on it once. So I guess this isn't
a threat? How can I get rid of it?

The redirection is gone now. If you did it, thank you. The bug has this PC all screwed up again. Every time
it connects to the web it fills with malware.
I have a HDD that has never been on this machine that I'm going to try.
Is it possible that a full format could leave a virus?

I appreciate your patience with my fumbling, I know you have better things to do.

PS. A virgin HDD makes no difference, it all came back, redirect and all.
Next I'll try the video card.

To me that would indicate a router problem, if it is a video card malware then it would be the first I have seen or heard of

Have you tried resetting the router to default

The only malware that could transfer would be a bad partition, but there was no sign of that.

This seems to be a small bit of code that expands and downloads when connected to the internet.
I've built a lot of work stations in an earlier lifetime (I had a Novell license, so you can see just how far back that was).
I'll muddle through this a piece at a time and let you know what I eventually find.

Again, thank you so much for all your patience, I've learned a lot and if I don't blow this thing up,
maybe I'll find the problem.

Thanks again,

Norm
