How to allow a program when virus is found?
« on: October 03, 2012, 06:34:27 AM »
Hi,

I have a program, on total virus there are only bitdefender and avast recognize it as virus. I want to allow it but there is any 'no action' option. There are only Move to Chest, Delete and Block. How can I allow it?

Thanks

you move it to chest.....then right click it an upload as false positive...
then you wait for it to be fixed  :)

can you post the virustotal scan link here so we may see?

What about 'Settings - Exclusions'? But don't exclude anything unless you are sure it is safe.
Avast Free 20.3.2405 - Comodo 12.2.2.7036 Firewall with D+ - Winpatrol Free.
On demand - MBAM - Super Antispyware.
Windows 10 64bit - 16GB Ram.

Hi,

I find the way to set a exclusion to that folder. I am not sure if it is safe, it is a very old program I had from somewhere but need it. Last time virus total gave it 4/44, now it increased to 9/43, is it a safe ratio? Here is the link
