WORM_BAGLE.AZ

Hi,

I made a search in the virus data base of AVAST,
on the WORM_BAGLE.AZ virus
and didn't find anything.
I am surprised that this virus is not in the list.

Can someone help me about that?

Does it mean I am not protected against that virus???

Jean

Thanks a lot

Different av vendors are using different names for viruses.

Bagle.az as Panda calls it is known by Avast as Win32:Beagle-AL [Zip]
W32/Bagle.az@MM as McAfee calls it is known to Avast as Win32:Beagle-AO [Wrm]

Have a look at VGREP, but keep in mind that VGREP is not up to date with all the names.

Stop being surprised, Avast does recognize the malware ;)

Thanks for your information,
specially VGrep...

I promise I won't be surprised again   ;)

Have a nice day

I must add I think AVAST is the best...

I installed it to some friends of mine too
and they are all very satisfied.
