I have 121005-0, but got no update notification. Anyone else have this?

No, I got my update notice as normal.

Do you happen to have it set to silent/gaming mode or have you had a full screen application running ?

The streaming updates have also gotten larger recently.  One was 45 KB. and there were 20 streaming updates in one _stream folder.  When those are folded into the nest VPS update, it's got to be larger.  The malware writers are getting more active. :P

The infrastructure guys are investigating the problem... will be fixed as soon as possible.
Please be patient. Sorry for the troubles.

Fine Igor but there have been way too many problems with Avast over the last few months, enough to make me think if I should renew my subscription.
No avast! problems from me, this is probably their biggest problem in years. I'm pretty sure you need to post in the viruses and worms section asap and get that redirect infection out of your computer.

Also, can we get a sticky or announcement on this? People are uninstalling + reinstalling and trying all these things that could potentially harm their computer even more. I really don't want to be the bearer of bad news when they say "My computer won't work with this I've tried all I can" with my response being," It's a problem with avast! that the avast! team is working on. You just destroyed half of your data for a "fix"."

It has been quite a while.

All is good now.

I'm still having a problem updating. My definitions version is still 121003-2, if I download the 68MB manual update file from http://www.avast.com/download-update and run it it tells me my VPS database is already up to date, which it clearly is not. Trying to update from the interface simply fails after a few seconds with no message at all, and trying to repair from the control panel gives me this message: Error processing packages. Please use full update.

What is going on here? I thought this was supposed to be fixed? What options remain for me, I feel like I've tried everything.
