How do I get my money back?

Hi I purchased the internet security suite today and I've decided that I don't want it after all. The website mentioned something about a 30 day warantee and i would like to cancel my subscription and get my payment back. I bought the program less than an hour ago.

Did you buy at avast! official site?
Maybe you can ask at sales@avast.com for it.
Any special reason for your regret?

I purchased directly from the website but I couldn't find any instructions on how to apply for a refund.

I don't like the program. I tried upgrading from the free version to internet security and the whole thing crashed. I got some weird error and now I cannot run any of the Avast installers. I am upset that I paid $30 for this and I want it off my machine.

Where can I find the process to get my refund? and what does sales@avast.com have to do with anything?

p.s. this captcha thing on the forum is driving me insane.

Well, you say you purchased AIS from the Avast website.

So, wouldn't it make sense to ask for a refund from sales@avast.com?   ???

and I suggest the reason why.
They will make attempts to get you to stay but if you rather a refund
then insist upon one.    My refund was approved Sep 3, 2012 and
I was told 15 business days to process.   I'm still waiting and just
sent off an email today about the refund.

I had no trouble in getting my avast! Rescue CD.  It even came a week ahead of promised delivery date.

If they promised to send you a refund check you should have your post office trace it if you are in the U.S.   Just contact whoever promised you the refund and ask for the pertinent shipping details.   Then contact the P.O. with the information.   If you live in the U.S. there is a very good chance that the P.O. lost your refund check.

Refund delay is with processing.
In response to my email this morning I  just heard back from the online store with an
email disclaimer to sign and agree I removed Avast from all my computers.
They apologized for the inconvenience.  There had been no previous attempt to contact me.
I should now receive my refund in 5-7 days.
