Stop the message in Outlook
« on: January 28, 2005, 09:28:12 PM »
Hi,

When I receive an e-mail in outlook with a .exe file, I always have a splash message from Avast telling me that this message may contains virus(basing on its extension).

Is it possible to deactivate this message and make Avast telling me only if a Virus is found in a mail or an attached file and not having this warning ?

Thanks,

This is likely to be in the Heuristics section of the Outlook/Exchange provider. I'm not sure if you can just switch off the warning for basic attachment check (even in the Low sensitivity, attachments are checked), switching to silent mode would effect all Heuristic warnings.
