Hi

I'm currently experiencing an issue where the WebRep extension for Chrome removes a menu item when I click on a link to download a PDF.

Webpage layout - two frames, 1) for the menu and 2) for the main content.

Scenario: once logged into the secure site and click to download the PDF (in the main content section) it causes the PDF to download and the page to refresh. Once the page loads again, it removes the menu frame and only leaves me with the content frame.

Does any one have an idea what could be causing this issue?

This resolves itself when I disable to extension in Chrome, and this is not an issue in IE or Firefox.

My Avast version: 7.0.1466

Thanks in advance.

Hi

I attached an image showing what happens. This is a secure site, so I masked some details and left the url out, since it will not be of any value.

The issue seems to occur when completing a form post when clicking on the download link.

Thanks
