midnight: I truly wish I could help you solve your issue, but just don't know much to be able to help you. I have attached a screenshot of my Firefox"Extensions" page. If you haven't already, check to make sure avast WebRep shows up there and is enabled. And then I see there was something said about Java. Do you have your Java enabled?

I didn't have it enabled in Firefox Extensions but I do now.  Yes, I have Java enabled.  Thank you so much for your help.  :)

<snip>
I tried to attach an image, but i give up :)

What was the problem attaching the image ?

It must be a .gif or .jpg or .png and be less than the size mentioned for a single file 194KB. Using a .gif image format is usually the smallest, crop the image so that it only shows the relevant part of the screenshot.

Thanks for the reply and info !
For me it looks like JPG is best for size and quality.

Quality doesn't have to be print quality or aesthetic, etc. just enough to show the point you are making.

There are lots of image examples attached in this topic, so you can see the file type used, the sizes involved and does the quality of the image convey the information you want.

I now pretty much use .png format not (on my screen capture software) set at 8bit 256 colours and that is more than adequate for web page display of this sort of information without having very large file sizes. Previously I used .gif at a slightly reduced quality, I did all of this whilst still being locked into dial-up and trying to keep size down.

Yep! WebRep on the fritz again. That didn't last long, did it?

At least McAfee is working, but why have WepRep in the program if it isn't going to function properly? I mean, it was out and out and out and then it was working. Hurray! A couple of days and now it's out again.  :(

When the bars are all grey then the most likely issue is the back-end servers are down, if they are down then there is no information available for the site, hence the 'Site has no rating' message.

Working fine on firefox 16.0.1.

I just checked and the little lines are still grayed out on all 3 browsers: Chrome, Firefox and IE.
