Works fine in IE, Firefox and Chrome. avast does not work with Pale Moon. Hopefully this will be addressed in future versions.
Since Pale Moon is basically a Firefox clone. I have noticed that the FF add-on "status 4evar" doesn't work with Pale Moon due to a stability issue.  :)

Those using the 7.0.1469 beta might want to check out this topic (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=106917.0) and see if they are also experiencing this repetitive scanning by the web shield, as it is linked to the webrep.

EDIT: Oops left out the link to the topic ;D

I am not using the beta. Still version 7.0.1466. Chrome has been my default browser for a little while now and it was working. As I mentioned, it shows up in green on the bar and appears to be activated, but nothing on the search pages.

But nothing on the search pages.
Confirmed. Firefox 16.0 beta  Chrome 23.0.1271.17 beta  Pale Moon 15.2 beta  ???

edit: it possibly could be the result of the latest vps update which will probably corrected in the next update.  :)

WebRep is (currently) working fine for me under 1466 in Firefox while browsing, although I'm sure we've all seen the occasional short-term outage.

I don't remember ever seeing WebRep icons with search results.  But my default for searches is Dogpile, and because that uses multiple search engines, that might affect how WebRep works.  Or maybe I missed something in its (Webrep's) settings.

They are back in the search results in Firefox but not in Chrome. Of course it's been a while for Chrome (nothing new).  :)

This topic I opened has generated a lot of additions from other consumers with the same problems as I posted, but no response from anyone as to any solutions.  :(

Where waiting just the same as you, hopefully it'll be fixed when the new version comes out of beta.

I don't know about or use Website Informer.
I don't use many Add-on's, and FF 16.0.1 is working for me.
I think Avast installed Web Rep while installing...just my guess.

Do you see see the Avast Web Rep add-on installed and enabled in FF ?
I tried to attach an image, but i give up :)

When I open Avast and look at my browser settings it shows that Web Rep is enabled on IE9, Opera and Firefox.  When I do a search on Yahoo it shows Traffic Light, Website Informer, McAfee Site Adviser and Safe Search but not Web Rep..

I tried to attach an image, but i give up :)

What was the problem attaching the image ?

It must be a .gif or .jpg or .png and be less than the size mentioned for a single file 194KB. Using a .gif image format is usually the smallest, crop the image so that it only shows the relevant part of the screenshot.
