Please Help I get fake MALWARE BLOCKED messages

Hello,

I have been using Avast free antivirus for long time. My current version is 7.0.1466, virus definition is 121010-1 I am trying to access hxxp://www.aquariumdrunkard.com. Its a well known music related website with thousands of unique daily visits. The problem is that when i try to access it I get MALICIOUS URL BLOCKED message. I tried to put an exception  through real time shields>web shield>expert settings. I tried:

hxxp://www.aquariumdrunkard.com
hxxp://www.aquariumdrunkard.com/*

but nothing works. If I disable webshield, then network shield blocks it!!! There is no way to visit my favorite web site except if I disable both shields.

ok I did, but is there a way to get past this without disabling the 2 shields or uninstalling avast?

You might want to rethink why you would want to uninstall Avast! after viewing this report on this site:  (Certain and irrevocable Blackhole exploit infection just by visiting)  http://urlquery.net/report.php?id=173873   Qualification:  Urlquery is safe to visit; it goes to the infected site for you and reports back on what it finds.  Urlquery is safe.

Problem here is not with Avast!, but with a website hack that has resulted in a severe infection of that site.  Avast! is protecting you from a very bad infection. 

Why would you disable/remove that protection?

It is up to the site owners to clean their site.  Avast! cannot do that, and neither can anyone else.  Only the site owners can do this.

You can use urlquery to verify infection of a site you want to visit in the future.  Might come in handy sometime.

EDIT:  To help protect other Avast! users from unwanted infection, please modify all http links to hxxp.  This will make all links not live and not clickable.
