LibreOffice very slow to open unless excluded
« on: October 25, 2012, 06:24:20 PM »
LibreOffice, without File System Shield on, takes about 10s to open a spreadsheet in Calc.
It takes about 13 - 14s to open with FSS on and when excluded: D:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\*
If not excluded, it takes about 28s to open! (All at first opening after boot; the times are shorter but still relatively equivalent on subsequent opening).
I don't like having full exclusion as there's no check on LO.
I thought that caching was supposed to avoid this situation - it seems to work for other apps.
