Beware of New Malaware - HELP SOUGHT
« on: October 31, 2012, 02:04:52 AM »
Friends of Avast,

Please find a link to the article giving information on a deadly malaware. It hijacks our email id and sends Death threats, threats  for mass destruction, threat for destruction of shrines etc. Does AVAST Free support us from this?

Kindly respond.

In all honesty I don't know, but I don't read/listen to these doom sayers, I just get on with life as normal in the knowledge that avast and my other protection (anti-spyware and firewall, etc.) and other proactive measures. If all that fails a robust backup and recovery strategy to overcome almost any situation and that doesn't have to be virus/malware related.

You simply can't worry about ever new thing on the block or you might as well stop using your computer.
