How many sites went dark due to hurricane Sandy?
« on: October 31, 2012, 11:56:19 PM »
Today I tried to go here to check: http://www.markosweb.com/www/hagerstowncc.edu/
and I read: Markosweb.com is not available. Our data center went dark due to Hurricane Sandy.

How many sites were targeted as a result of Hurricane Sandy?

I haven't seen any numbers on that statistic but any site hosted in the New Jersey / New York area, north to Maine, and west to Ohio could have been dark through Wednesday, or longer, depending on the damage done/precautions taken by the host.

No problem. I don't know how many but several companies were using generators for power. Maybe generators will help Congress?
Probably not.  ???
