Downloading error
« on: July 10, 2012, 07:51:42 PM »
When downloading items in Grabit I read the following messages:
"unable to connect to reader xsnews.nl 119502 concurrent connection limit in Avast exceeded"
therefore my downloads remain uncomplete.
Can anyone tell me what this means and how i can solve this problem?
Thanks

I'm on mobile now and it's difficult to find (search) a thread from the user "pk" about NNTP (news protocol).
Maybe

MaxConnections=20 The default concurrent connection limit is 20 (for mail & news together). If the limit was exceeded, you would see the line Closing connection due to MaxConnections into aswMaiSv.log file. This limit exists not to save resources, but to prevent connection looping in strange configurations, so the user can increase it without worry to, for instance, 50. The value 0 disables the limit.

Hi, Sorry but i'm not able to find Aswmaisv.log file on my computer to change this value, could you help me to find this file (provide the pathname) please ?
i'm blocked with this issue on Grabit since my last Avast upgrade (no possibility for me to download files because this error appear in most of my connections list).
Thanks in advance.
