Snap.do virus HELP!
« on: November 05, 2012, 10:56:47 PM »
On my laptop computer ( I am using my desktop) I was happily gaming and browsing the web as usual when suddenly KABAM Snap.do comes up as search browser, Intrigued I searched it up on the browser there it said: DO NOT USE THE BROWSER! So I quickly shut down my laptop
I heard it is VERY malicious And I was wondering what to do; Should I attempt to manually uninstall, have avast update and then scan to kill it, or should I pay a local business? Help would be much appreciated This is the first time avast has let me down normally I am a safe surfer I only download things that many have downloaded I always have avast enabled, I believe this was an attachment to a secure download. I do not know PLEASE HELP!

All the recommended downloads are safe, otherwise I would not recommend them.  Without the data I can do nothing
