Update : nothing happens, it freezes

Hello,

I can't update my Internet Security pack.

I click the button and they it appears to freeze. I can wait one hour long, nothing happens, no update.

Any clue ?

hey i suggest a repair of avast as a first step. if that is not solving your problem try a clean instillation of avast.

start-controlpanel- add/remove programs scroll down to avast-hit the uninstall button- hit the repair option.
