Is it possible to turn off security for one folder?
« on: November 11, 2012, 10:17:44 AM »
Hi

I have a problem, I'm learning programming in C++ using MS Visual Studio 2010. I'm totaly beginer.
When I would like to lounch my program all the time avast is checking if it is ok and safe, its take a lot of time and sometimes program don't work becouse of avast. Becouse of this i have to turn avast off when i'm programming - i don't like it but i have no other option.

Is it possible to turn off security from avast for folder in which i keep my programming projects? How to do it?

thanks in advance for help!

You can use exclusions to do that. Go into shield settings (File System Shield) and enter the path to folder you want to exclude. You can use ? or * for more global exclusions.
