I thought maybe you would already tell something about version 8. If you do not want to do it yet.
Please remember that forum members are avast users just like you. We "do not" work for avast. Thus we know as much as you do about v8.0 release.
We enjoy sharing our knowledge with others. It's that some have a lot more knowledge than others.
When I'm in over my head I step aside to those who know more than me.
You are more than welcome to assist other users as you are able to.  :)
Dell Inspiron, Win10x64--HP Envy Win10x64--Both systems Avast Free v17.9.2322, Comodo Firewall v8.2 w/D+, MalwareBytes v3.0, OpenDNS, Super Anti-Spyware, Spyware Blaster, MCShield, Unchecky, Vivaldi Browser and, various browser security tools.

Avast antivirus diverts every connection from my computer to the Internet so that it looks like it's connecting to the localhost:12080, so my firewall (Comodo Internet Security) can only see this.
That is a comodo problem as it uses an old type firewall driver.  Comodo are aware of this and as far as I know they are ignoring it

You were advised to turn off the Behavior Shield in Avast because the HIPS component of the Comodo Firewall known as D+ is stronger, does the same thing in a different way, and is probably conflicting. I would take that advice and you most likely will not have further problems.

bug fix in the next version

That MailEnable all know is bad, but is that bad?!

What worries me is that always indicate the Avast! customers (I have a hosting company, locador.com.br). Often restarting Avast! solved, but not now. It has to be reinstalled.

To try to help them, here are some data that I find useful in my email client and the host server programs that administer and use:

The Thunderbird is the last to use the 17.0.2 (I think that's not the problem, but I notice)
Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition
MailEnable Standard 6.0
Mail Enable Administration MTA 1.0

I hope you can solve the problem, because I had 2 clients already complaining with me. I passed the information you were working on the case and that was enough to uninstall and reinstall Avast would not have any problem, but people get annoyed at having to do this (in fact, currently irritated very easily).

Success to you! Att Edilson

You can use open dns for that, or you can install an addon on mozilla to protect your child from adult content.

1,3 and 4 are good suggestions.
#2 could be judged as bloatware and is already available for free elsewhere.
