Avast Spam Filter and Outlook 2010
« on: December 07, 2012, 08:01:47 PM »
I'm new to Avast. I've been running Outlook 2010 for a long time and had no problems. Then I installed the 30 day trial version of Avast Internet Security 2013 and now more than half of my emails (including orders, etc.) are going to the Junk box. I need to disable the Avast Anti Spam (which I seem to understand from the forum posts runs as an add-in in Outlook (but it is not listed in my Add-Ins in Outlook). Or at least I need to know how to train it to not junk my order emails.

Can anyone help, please?

Thanks

Dear Coleberd,

I wrote this blog article for end users, to explain in detail, how to train the avast! anti-spam module.  I found nothing at avast! that was really usable:

This should really help you, sir!
