Blue screen again even after patched !

Today I did fresh installation of Windows 8 pro 32-bit. So I had to install avast from the scratch as well. Then I extracted patch to the system32/driver folder in order to prevent blue screen(including disable/enable self defense). System ran without any problem while I install other software. Then I noticed there was an update of 102mb which has published by the microsoft on 4th of this month and  I installed it, restarted. After few minutes from update while I was listening to some music (exactly "lady in red"),  with few sound lags I got blue screen again.yes that was aswnet.sys error. since I had no option, again I extracted the patch in to sys32/drivers folder and overwrite the existing files which I pasted earlier. up to this point no problem occurred. but who knows when it's again.... 

pls release a stable version which addresses these issues soon...

I popped $20 for Norton 360 until this issue is resolved.

Are you really sure that the files are patched?
Did you follow strictly the instructions?

I had a problem similar but I could only confirm that the patch works if you do exactly what is written.
